Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath has said that Telangana Bill has been introduced in the Lok Sabha. Talking to media persons outside the Parliament, the Minister expressed concern over the violent protests inside Lok Sabha during the presentation of the Bill.

The Minister said, several parties have requested him to urge the Speaker for initiating stern action against the members involved in violent activity in the House. Speaker Ms. Meira Kumar termed the incidents in the Lower House as a blot.

Meanwhile, sources in the Lok Sabha Secretariat said that technically, the Bill has not been introduced as the procedure could not be completed before adjournment of the House. They said, the Speaker sought the permission of the House to allow Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to introduce the Bill.

But in the melee, she had to adjourn the House before announcing the result of the motion.
