In Andhra Pradesh, the Telangana bandh called by Telangana Joint Action Committee, JAC, is so far peaceful amidst tight security arrangements. The bandh has been called by JAC alleging state government's attitude towards employees proposed agitation for Telanagana statehood.Protest demonstrations are being held at several places across the region. The road-commuters are facing severe hardships with the State Transport Corporation suspending several bus services across Telangana region due to Bandh.
