Normal life remained affected in Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh today on the second day of the 48-hour Bandh. The Bandh has been called by the Telangana Joint Action Committee in support of their demand for introduction of a bill for separate statehood for the region. It is being supported by the Telangana Rastra Samithi, CPI and BJP. Educational institutions and business establishments remained closed today. People are facing hardships as most of the Road Transport Corporation buses remained off the roads. However, the essential services have been spared from Bandh on the second day also.
