<span style="color: #222222;">Telangana Assembly has passed various Bills to bring reforms in the State's Revenue Department by reducing human interface for land transactions. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The government has scrapped the posts of Village Revenue Officers (VROs) and Village Revenue Assistants (VRAs). After enactment, record of rights relating to lands will be maintained in electronic form in Telangana Land Records Management System for enforcing hassle-free revenue administration in the State. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Replying to a debate in the Assembly over the Bills, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said it is the first step towards a new revenue system and will address all land related issues for people. He further said the new legislation will eliminate the problems particularly that the people, farmers and poorer sections are facing in registering their lands. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Under the new Revenue Act, land mutation or change of land title ownership will be done online via the Dharani portal. This will also allow people to access records of agricultural and non-agricultural land online from anywhere. The portal also will have details of the prohibited lands including those of State and Central Governments, with auto-lock feature.</span><br />
