In Telangana, the 75th Republic Day has been celebrated across the state with enthusiasm. The National Flag has been hoisted at all constitutional institutions, government offices, and offices of all political parties. In Hyderabad, a large number of people are seen enthusiastically taking part in Republic Day celebrations held at various places. At the ceremonial parade held at the Central Lawns of Public Gardens in Hyderabad, Governor Dr Tamiisai Sounderarajan hoisted the tri-colour and took the salute from the armed forces. Addressing the people of the state, the governor highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution in uniting the nation and paid tributes to the architects of the Constitution. Emphasising the importance of the Constitution in empowering the people to remove the rulers who went against the spirit of the constitution through struggles and elections, the governor said the people of Telangana ended the dictatorship and brought a people's government in the recent elections.<br />'' <br />''She emphasised that democracy, welfare, and development can only be achieved when the government follows the spirit of the Constitution.
