<span style="color: #222222;">In Telangana, the massive surge in daily Covid-19 cases driven by the Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 has continued with health authorities reporting 2295 positive cases during the past 24 hours. Out of them, 1452 infections were reported from the areas under Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Three fatalities were also reported yesterday.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Omicron variant Covid infections are also increasing in other urban centres with 232 infections reported from Medchal-Malkajgiri district and 218 from Rangareddy district. With this Telangana reported over 6 lakh 89 thousand COVID 19 cases so far  while  the number of active cases is 9,861. Meanwhile, 278 individuals have recovered from the disease during the past 24 hours.</span>
