Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao today said, 12 per cent reservations for minorities will soon be implemented and 50 thousand jobs will be created after setting up of Telangana Public Service Commission.Addressing people of Telangana after hoisting the National Flag on Independence Day at the historic Golkonda Fort for the first time in Hyderabad, he said, measures have already been initiated for the same. He informed that a wakf tribunal will be set up soon to protect wakf assets in the state. Stating that all the assurances given during the elections will be fulfilled, the Chief Minister announced a slew of welfare schemes for the benefit of SC and STs and Most backward classes. He launched the ‘3-Acre Cultivable land Distribution scheme’ formally by distributing land papers to the SC beneficiaries. He also announced that Social welfare pentions will be hiked up to 1500 rupees per month to the disabled and thousand for others from Daserrah festival onwards.
