Technical snag delayed the Delhi Metro services on the HUDA City Centre to Jahangirpuri line today with hundreds of passengers stranded at several stations. According to the Delhi Metro Spokesman, Metro services towards this line are moving on a restricted speed of 20 kilometres per hour between INA and AIIMS Metro stations due to track circuit failure near the INA Metro station. He said that the problem has been identified and will be rectified in the night after revenue services as taking up repairing work immediately will lead to delay in services. All other lines remained unaffected and train services are normal.
