A team of MPs from various political parties will accompany Environment Minister Mr. Jairam Ramesh to the UN summit on climate change at Copenhagen which begins on the 7th of this month. They include Mr. Murali Manohar Joshi of BJP, Mr Sitaram Yechury of CPI (M), Mr. Bhartruhari Mahtab of BJD and Mr. M S Saminathanan, who is a nominated member of Rajya Sabha. The Environment minister will be going to Copenhagen on the 11th of this month with an aim to negotiate India's position at the summit, which is being held to sign a new climate treaty to replace Kyoto Protocol, 1997 that expires in 2012.<br/><br/>
