Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has allotted portfolios to his 29 Cabinet colleagues retaining Home, General Administration, Cabinet co-ordination. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar has been given Finance and Commercial Taxes, Forest & Environment. Bijendra Prasad gets Energy and Ramai Ram Revenue and Land Reforms. First time Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary has been given water resources and Praveen Amanullah is the new social welfare minister. AIR Patna correspondent reports, the new Cabinet has a blend of highly qualified and a 7th-pass minister. Satyadeo Narayan Arya who has been MLA for the last 28 years without a break has been made Minister for Mine & Geology Department. On the other hand, MLA elected for the first time Praveen Amanullah has been given Cabinet berth. Former Advocate general P K Sahi is not yet member of Bihar Assembly but has been made Cabinet minister for HRD. In Nitish Cabinet, there are many highly educated minister but Hari Prasad Sah who has got just basic education’Class 7th’has been made minister for Panchayati Raj Department.
