Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli has said that the team will play aggressive cricket in Sri Lanka in the three Test match series.Speaking to the press in Colombo ahead of the three day warm up match, Virat Kohli said that aggression has helped India perform well in the past and he saw no reason to change his approach.Replying to a question on the preparation done by the team for a Test series in Sri Lanka, Kohli said that the team has studied the just concluded series between Sri Lanka and Pakistan and is geared up for the challenge. He said that the fact that India has not won a Test series in Sri Lanka since 1993 will not matter.Speaking on the retirement of Sri Lankan legend Kumara Sangakkara during the series, Kohli said that it would be an important factor in the series as Sangakkara would like to retire on a high note. He said that the team will have to plan something special to contain him, but it would be premature to speak about that. Kohli said that Sangakkara is a great left hand batsmen and has always been a match winner.
