TDP MP Diwakar Reddy banned by all domestic airlines for alleged unruly behaviour at Vizag airport

TDP Member Parliament J C Diwakar Reddy has been banned by all domestic airlines following his alleged unruly behaviour yesterday at the Visakhapatnam airport. Mr. Reddy was denied boarding by IndiGo airlines for coming late.<br/><br/>According to PTI, full-service carrier Vistara and budget airlines — GoAir and AirAsia India — today also barred Reddy from their flights. Air India, SpiceJet and Jet Airways followed IndiGo yesterday, which imposed the flying ban on him.<br/><br/>The action by all the domestic airlines is similar as taken by the carriers after the incident involving Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad earlier this year.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, according to agency sources, Civil Aviation Minister has ordered an enquiry into the incident involving TDP MP at Vizag Airport.<br/><br/>Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju today said that he will get the entire incident involving TDP MP J C Diwakar Reddy at Vizag airport enquired into and will ensure that lawful outcomes follow.<br/><br/>Mr Reddy, who is from the same party as that of the minister allegedly created a ruckus at Vizag airport yesterday after being denied boarding by IndiGo as he was late. While the MP was finally accommodated on the same flight, all the major domestic carriers including IndiGo later banned him from their flights.<br/><br/>The minister also denied a media report that he had intervened to ensure that Reddy was allowed to board the IndiGo flight.
