Telugu Desam Party members including leader of Opposition Chandrababu Naidu have been suspended from Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on Tuesday evening for disrupting the proceedings. The TDP members have been stalling the proceedings demanding continuation of the discussion on farmers’ problems. The Assembly has specially met this evening for Government business. AIR correspondent reports, the proceedings of Andhra Pradesh Assembly have been marred with suspensions today. TDP members including Leader of Opposition Chandrababu Naidu have been suspended for stalling the proceedings over farmers’ problems while TRS members have been suspended over lifting off the cases against students. Demanding the government to continue the discussion on farmers’ problems, the TDP members have disrupted proceedings when the house specially assembled in the evening for government business. Repeated appeals from the chair could not pacify the agitating TDP members who thronged the speaker’s podium. The proceedings have been brought to a stand still while the TDP members thronged the speaker’s podium. Rising slogans and displaying placards, the opposition members have created pandemonium leading to their suspension. Despite suspensions, the TDP members have refused to leave the house and marshals have been called in to carry them out.
