In Andhra Pradesh, the opposition Telugu Desam legislators from Telangana region have once again submitted their resignations, pressing their demand for statehood. The TDP MLAs have submitted their resignations to Assembly Secretary Rajasadaram on Wednesday evening. These MLAs have tendered their resignations earlier also on the issue but Speaker N Manohar had rejected them.Meanwhile, the Congress leaders from Telangana region called on Mr. Gulam Nabi Azad, incharge of party affairs in the state, to discuss fresh political developments in the wake of General Strike underway for the past 16 days in the region.
