The Trinamool Congress members today demanded a probe into an accident involving a truck and a car in the convoy of the Railway Minister Ms Mamta Banerjee when she was travelling to Kolkata two days ago. Raising the issue during zero hour in Lok Sabha the party leader Sudip Bandhopadhya said that investigation should be conducted to ascertain how the security of the convoy was breached. Alleging a conspiracy, he said there have been attempts on her life earlier as well .CPI(M) leader Basudeb Acharia said the driver of the truck was arrested and a CID enquiry ordered by the state government was already going on.
