The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has informed that water logging was reported at least 19 spots, 479 incidents of trees falling besides 26 incidents of wall or house collapse. These include damages caused to atleast  2,060 properties apart from cost of repairs for about 900 electric poles, about 460 power lines and 21 electric substations that have been damaged due to rains. A total of 4563 people were evacuated in the wake of cyclone Tauktae while the district administration has confirmed that all boats had returned safely before the cyclone started to wreak havoc in the region. About 3.57 lakh electric connections are still to be restored while over 600 electric poles will need repairs along with 15 transformers.</span><br />''
