The CBI carried out searches in Delhi and the National Capital Region yesterday in connection with TATRA case. Reports say some important documents have been recovered. The investigating agency carried out searches at the residences of two retired Army Officers and a senior Executive of the VECTRA Group. The CBI registered a case yesterday for alleged irregularities in the supply of TATRA trucks to the Army through state owned company BEML. The investigation agency is probing the Army Chief Gen. V.K. Singh's allegation of having been offered a bribe.
