Sania Mirza and her partner Maria Elena Camerin have crashed out of the Women's Doubles event of the Taskent Open tennis tournament. In the quarter-finals in Tashkent today, the Indo-Italian combination lost 5-7 1-6 to Alexandra Dulgheru of Romania and Magdalena Rybrikova of Slovakia in little over one hour. Sania and Maria earned 70 ranking points and 1650 U.S. dollars as prize money. Sania had won the Guangzhou International Open along with Edina Gallovits of Romania, last week. That was Sania's first WTA title in 17 months and ninth doubles trophy overall.
