In Nepal, the Chairman of Constituent Assembly Subhash Nemwang has expressed hope that the newly formed seven-member task force will help iron out differences among the political parties to speed up the process of writing the new constitution. Talking to newsmen in Biratnagar today, Nemwang said he will convene a meeting of the task force tomorrow to discuss challenges facing the constitution writing process. AIR Kathmandu Correspondent reports that a new seven-member taskforce consisting of top leaders of major political parties was formed yesterday. This follows a meeting of the 27 political parties in the constituent assembly to forge a consensus among the parties on the contentious issues of different thematic committees of the constituent assembly.
