In Pakistan, at least 24 people have been killed in various incidents of firing and violence in the port city of Karachi, a day after the Sindh government's announcement of banning pillion riding.
According to the police, a man was gunned down in a firing incident in Metroville area of the city late last night.
A bullet-riddle body of a man was found in Sarafa Bazar of Meetha Dar. In an another incident, a man was shot dead while five sustained injuries in Liaquatabad FC Area. The injured son of the slain IB official Qamar Raza succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.
Earlier, 20 people including a police official and an office bearer of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat were killed in violent incidents.
