New Delhi says, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India, TAPI gas pipe line is technically feasible. Authoritative sources said that a steering committee which was formed for the purpose has given the feasibility report. The Pipe line will be passing through highest mountains in the world. The Sources dismissed reports about any US pressure on shelving the Iran Pakistan pipe line project. However sources made it clear that two issues have to be addressed before taking steps forward. They include assured supply of oil and physical safety of the pipe line. The conditions in Baluchistan in Pakistan are far from satisfactory, added the sources. Meanwhile the issue of oil payments with Iran has been resolved. Sources said some way out has been found and hailed the cooperation of Tehran in this direction. On the continuance of developmental assistance to India, Official sources confirmed that Japan will continue it. Tokyo is also committed to continue its infrastructure projects in North South Corridor and other projects being carried out by it.
