A Tanzanian ferry with around 600 passengers on board, sunk as it was traveling between the islands of Zanzibar and Pemba. According to a PTI report, at least 163 people have died so far while about 325 passengers have been rescued. Around 100 passengers are still missing.At least 8000 persons are waiting for the news of their relatives who may have been on the ferry. The ferry was bringing people back from holiday at the end of Ramadan and many children were also on board.
