In Madhya Pradesh, Tansen Samaroh began in Gwalior with traditional recitation of Harikatha and Milad Sharif at the tomb of music maestro Tansen on Friday. Hindustani classical vocalist Savita Devi will be felicitated with the prestigious Tansen Samman of Madhya Pradesh government on Friday evening. This is the 87th year of Tansen Samaroh which is dedicated to Indian classical music. Noted musicians will perform during the four day music festival. In all six musical session will be held.
