Indian youth boxers Dheeraj Singh (52kg) and L P Prasad (49kg) are assured of at least silver medals at the 33rd International Tammer Tournament in Finland. Both boxers entered the finals of the tournament which is being held at Tampere. Dheeraj overpowered Charlie Edwards of England in an enthralling contest with a score of 19-14. Prasad, a multiple Junior National Champion, recorded a 17-14 victory over Welsh boxer Ashley Williams in another spirited performance. Earlier in the tournament, MD Hussam (56kg) lost out in a closely-fought bantamweight quarter-final against Abdul Majid Omar of Sweden. Also, Deepak Tanwar (64kg) went down against Batyrzhan Jukembayev of Kazakastan in the light welter weight quarter-final round.
