Union Minister of State for Road Transport Highways and Shipping Pon Radhakrishnan said that MPs from Tamil Nadu will be meeting External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on 31st of this month to resolve Tamil fishermen issue. <br/><br/>Speaking to reporters at Tiruchirapalli today he said that BJP government at the centre has till now secured 1000 Indian fishermen from Lankan jail and 300 fishermen from other countries. He urged the Tamil fishermen to cooperate to find a lasting solution to the problem. The Minister assured that central government is trying to secure the release of 86 Tamil fishermen lodged in Sri Lankan jail.
