In Tamilnadu's Nilgiris district, a leopard which was staying inside a house left the place at midnight. The leopard had chased a dog into the house at Coonoor, Nilgiris a couple of days back. It attacked the forest Department officials when they tried to deactivate the animal. Three forest officials were admitted to the hospital due to injuries. The entire area was cordoned off and kept under CCTV surveillance. The leopard then left the house in the wee hours today.
