The Central University of Tamilnadu, Tiruvarur today entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Indian Institute of Handloom Technology of the Union Ministry of Textiles, functioning in Salem.<br />'' <br />'' According to the MoU, the Central University will be examining and awarding  the BTech degree in Handloom Technology from the current academic year.<br />'' <br />'' Dr Velmurugan P S, Dean, Central University said that the MoU will further the academic collaboration between the two institutions.<br />'' <br />'' He further said that the Central University Tiruvarur is venturing into BTech degree under its School of Engineering and Technology.<br />''
