<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil scholar Nellai Kannan has been arrested by the police last night for his alleged derogatory remarks against the Prime Minister and the Union Home Minister. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He is said to have made controversial remarks against the two leaders at a political rally organized by the Social Democratic Party of India, last Saturday in Tirunelveli. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He has been arrested at Perambalur and the Tirunelveli police have initiated the process to bring him there and present him before the magistrate. The police have filed FIRs under three different sections of the IPC.</span><br />
