He is expected to preside over a review meeting of higher officials and department heads later today.<br />'' <br />'' Complete lockdown is in place in Madurai Corporation area, Paravai Municipal area as well as the Thiruparakundram Panchayat area.<br />'' <br />'' It is notable that Madurai had recorded 238 new COVID-19 cases.<br />'' <br />'' Thiruparakundram, near Madurai, where total lockdown is in place, is famous for the hillock, where one of the six Karthikeya temples of state is situated.</span><br />'' &nbsp;<br />
