Tamil Nadu has recorded more than 25 thousand fresh COVID cases yesterday. The State Health Department has said that more than 32 thousand patients were discharged after recovery for the pandemic. A total of 483 persons succumbed to COVID.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Around two lakh 88 thousand patients were on treatment. Over one lakh 74 thousand samples were tested for COVID. Coimbatore topped the list with more than three thousand fresh cases. Chennai registered a maximum of 2,217 cases. Erode, Salem and Tirupur are three districts which recorded over a thousand cases. </span><br />
