In Tamil Nadu, a passenger was killed and 20 were injured after a bus carrying 45 people from Chennai to Coimbatore overturned and fell into a ditch near the Chengalpattu district last night. According to police, the incident took place after the driver lost control of the vehicle because of heavy rainfall. The injured were admitted to Chengalpattu District Hospital after first-aid. The incident resulted in heavy traffic jam in both directions of the Chennai-Trichy National Highway.<br />
