Murugan visited the Project site for two fishing harbours in Tamil Nadu today.<br />''<br />''The two fishing harbours are being built in the backwaters of Azhagankuppam in Villupuram district and Alamparaikuppam in Chengalpattu District at the cost of 235 crore Rupees. The fishing harbours are part of the Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund (FIDF), been demanded for a long time. Dr. Murugan suggested various incorporations, like construction of a Hospital, Ice Factory and processing units in the proposed Fishing harbour to reduce inputs costs.<br />''<br />''Later, addressing the fishermen, Dr Murugan said that a separate ministry has been set up and more than 5000 crore Rupees has been allocated to improve infrastructure. He also said that fisheries has been included in the Prime Minister's Gati Sakthi to ensure fast implementation of the projects.</span><br />
