In Tamil Nadu, Communist Party of India MLA, P. Muthukumaran died in a car accident at Annavasal near Pudukottai on Sunday. The mishap occured when a tyre of his jeep burst and the vehicle overturned. The driver and another person were admitted to the Pudukottai hospital with injuries. Chief Minister S Jayalalithaa conveyed her condolences to the bereaved family.
