Tamil Nadu IT Department expands workspace for IT, IT-enabled Services industry

<span style="color: #222222;">The Tamil Nadu Information Technology Department is expanding the workspace for the IT and IT-enabled Services industry in Chennai, Coimbatore, and Trichy. In the department Policy Note tabled by its minister Mano Thangaraj in the state Assembly today, it is said that to meet the growing demand for quality IT space, a new Information Technology Tower with 2.33 lakh square feet built-up area is being constructed at Sholinganallur in Chennai a cost of 88.21 crore rupees.  <br />''<br />''The document further states that Global Capability Centres in the IT sector are being planned in the state. They will act as the resilience centers to support 'globally distributed business' functions and serve as the hub for business innovations.</span>
