The Tamil Nadu government has decided to distribute 10 eggs every month to school students under the noon meal scheme.<br />''<br />''The State Social Welfare and Nutrition Programme Minister, Dr V Saroja announced this at a function in Rasipuram, Namakkal district today. She said that the eggs, as part of nutrition enhancement measures, will be implemented from the current month itself. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Since schools have not reopened in the State the raw materials for preparing nutrition rich food are being distributed among students in the form of user friendly kits.<br />''<br />'' Dr Saroja also reviewed the various social welfare schemes – especially those related to the safety and empowerment of the girl child – in separate meetings held at Rasipuram and Namakkal.</span><br />
