In Tamil Nadu , the State Government has effected a reshuffle of senior IAS officers. <br/><br/>Principal Secretary Home Mrs Malathi has been shifted and posted as Vigilance Commissioner. Finance Secretary Gnanadesikan will take over as Home secretary. <br/><br/>Principal Secretary Food and Co-operation Mr. K. Shanmugham has been given charge of the Finance Department. <br/><br/>Among the other officers who have shifted include Chairman and Managing Director of Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage board Mr. Swaran Singh, who takes over Principal Secretary Food and Cooperation Department.
