<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu Governor R.N.Ravi flagged off the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Tiruvannamalai District today evening. Speaking at the event, the Governor said that the tribal areas in the State need holistic development. Mentioning tribal areas in Tiruvannamalai, Salem, and Nilgiris districts, Mr. R.N. Ravi said that though 75 years of Independence have gone by, still people in tribal areas are suffering without food and are poverty-stricken. Referring to India and China in 1999, he said that both countries were equally developing but now China has lagged behind in economic growth. The Governor said that the Narendra Modi Government had allocated Rs. 24 Crore for the development of the tribals in the Country. He distributed soil health cards and seed bags to 100 beneficiaries during the event.</span><br />
