Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala today greeted the teachers and the teaching fraternity on the eve of Teacher's Day—the birthday of former President Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. In his message, the Governor said Dr Radhakrishnan was a renowned scholar, philosopher and a great teacher who rose to become the President of India. His principles and ideals were relevant to the teachers and to the youth even today, Barnala said.
