<span style="color: #222222;">As the North East Monsoon is active over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, several areas in the region are receiving light to moderate rainfall. The Pilloor Dam in Coimbatore District at the foothills of the Western Ghats has reached its full level, leading to letting off 30-thousand cusecs of water into the River Bhavani. Therefore, flood warning has been issued to the hamlets along the river.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The copious inflow into the river has led to rising of water level in the Bhavanisagar Dam.</span><br />'' <b><span style="color: #222222;"> </span></b><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, inflow of water into the state's biggest Stanley Reservoir at Mettur has increased to 34722 cusecs and the outflow from the dam for farming in Delta districts has been restricted to 2000 cusecs.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">  </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Several parts of the Nilgiris district are witnessing heavy rain, leading to closure of schools in the Kundha Tehsil in the hill district.   </span><br />
