<span style="color: #222222;">In Tamil Nadu, five persons were killed in a collision between a petroleum tanker and a car today evening at Manakadavu in Dharapuram, Tiruppur district. The incident happened when the car collided head-on with the tanker. The tanker was en route from Coimbatore to Dharapuram and the car was travelling back from Palani to Dharapuram. A case has been registered on the incident by the Dharapuram Police. The Tamilnadu Government has announced 2 lakhs rupees ex gratia to the families of those killed in the accident.</span><br />
