Tamil Nadu Minister for Environment, Forests and Climate Change K.Ramachandran has said that efforts will be augmented to avoid human-wildlife clashes near the forests in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Talking to reporters in Ooty yesterday, he said the Nilgiris district stands first in the state in terms of forests cover. He said the hill district boasts of having 67 percent of its terrain covered by forests.<br />'' <br />''He said the administration is taking all efforts to preserve the forests in the state.
