Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy has urged the Railway Ministry to resume operation of the suburban rail services in Chennai at the earliest.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In a letter to Railway Minister Piyush Goel, he said, the resumption of the Electric Multiple Unit – EMUs in and around Chennai will greatly help the general public and quickly revive the local economy. He has also pointed out that the State Government has already permitted public transport and that the Chennai Metro rail services are currently in operation.</span><br />
