He also said the quantum of water to be given to the water-deficient state needs to be 200 TMC. He demanded the Centre's approval of rejuvenating the River Cauvery on the lines of the Namami Ganga Project.<br />''<br />''Mr Palaniswamy asked for the inclusion of Tamil Nadu in the Atal Bhujal Yojana, which is currently implemented in seven states. He reiterated the state's position that the proposed dam across the interstate river Cauvery at Mekedatu by the upper riparian state of Karnataka would be against the interest of the lower riparian state, and would go against the judgments of the Supreme Court and the Cauvery Tribunal.</span><br />
