Tamil Nadu CM thanks PM Modi for accepting his demand related to studies in archaeology

<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi Palaniswamy has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for accepting his demand related to studies in archaeology. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He wrote a letter yesterday to the Prime Minister seeking inclusion of post-graduation in Tamil as a recognised qualification for admission to the proposed diploma in archaeology. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The course is to be conducted by the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Institute at Greater Noida. Initially, only degrees in five languages were accepted as the eligibility norm in which Tamil was not included. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Several political party leaders in the state pressed for its inclusion. Last night, the institute added the PG degrees in all the Indian classical languages as eligibility for the two year course.</span><br />''
