<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin has urged the state Governor RN Ravi to forward the NEET bill seeking exemption for the state from the entrance test, to the President at the earliest. Making a suo motu statement in the Assembly today, he quoted media reports suggesting that the Governor is considering sending the Bill to the President for his assent. However, he said the developments would be keenly watched, and if necessary, a meeting of the leaders of all the parties that are represented in the Assembly will be held to decide on the further course of action.<br />''<br />''Mr Stalin pointed out that he has a very cordial relationship with the state Governor, adding, the Governor has at several occasions praised the functioning of the state government. However, he said, the Bills should be forwarded to the Centre at the earliest in the interest of the state's welfare and also in tune with the principles of parliamentary democracy.</span><br />
