The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Ms. J.Jayalalithaa has shuffled her cabinet on Friday.A press release from Raj Bhavan on Friday evening said that Ms.Jayalalalithaa has dropped two ministers from her cabinet and has inducted two new ministers.The two ministers who were removed included Mr. Paranjothy, the winner of the recently held bye election in Tiruchy west. He was made the minister for Law and Justice.The newly inducted ministers are Mrs. N.Valarmathy and MSM Anandan.Mrs B.Valarmathy was a senior minister in Ms.Jayalalithaa’s cabinet during her previous tenure. Mr. C.V.Shanmugam who handles school education,sports and youth portfolio has been additionally given law and Justice .The swearing in ceremony for the new ministers will be held on the 12th of this month. There is no change in the total number of 34 ministers in the cabinet.
