Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin has said there won't be any compromise on the security of the state Governor. He replied to the Calling Attention Motion on Governor's security, brought by the Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palaniswamy in the state Assembly today.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Stalin said the charge of attacking the convoy of Governor RN Ravi in Mayiladuthurai yesterday with stones and logs is far from truth. Referring to the letter of Governor's Aide-de-Camp to the state Director General of Police, Mr Stalin said the Governor's convoy passed unharmed, though a group of people staged black flag demonstrations.<br />'' <br />'' Opposition Leader Edappadi Palaniswamy said the attack on the Governor's convoy shocks everyone in the state.<br />'' <br />'' Additional DGP in charge of Law and Order issued a statement saying the black flags were thrown down on the road  in Mayiladuthurai when the convoy was passing, denying allegations of any attacks. He said all the protestors were arrested and legal proceedings are being initiated against them.<br />'' <br />'' Meantime, Governor RN Ravi proceeded to Delhi on a two-day tour from today. It is said that he may meet the President, Prime Minister and Home Minister.  <br />'' <br />'' The AIADMK has condemned the reported attack targeting the convoy of Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi yesterday. In a statement, the leader of the Opposition in the state Assembly and the party joint coordinator Edappadi Palaniswamy has said, the Governor had been returning from Mayiladuthurai after meeting the Dharmapuram Adheenam when anti-social elements targeted the Governor's convoy. He has said the incident indicates that law and order is deteriorating in the state.<br />'' <br />'' The state BJP leader K.Annamalai has also condemned the reported attack, saying Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be apprised of the incident. Meanwhile, the state Additional Director General of Police (Law & Order) has said there has been no attack on the Governor's convoy with stones and sticks, as reported.<br />'' <br />''In a statement, he has said hundreds of people were gathered with black flags to stage demonstrations. He further said, when the Governor's convoy was seen, the protestors threw the flags down on the road. However, he added, the police placed barricades and ensured a safe passage for the Governor's convoy, and the protestors were arrested.
