Informing that proper disposal of nuclear waste should be planned for units 1 &2 and also for the subsequent four units, Stalin said that if there are no feasible options, the spent fuel may be permanently stored in a deep geological Repository in an uninhabited and ecologically non-sensitive area.<br />''<br />''He referred to the earlier agreement was to collect and store the spent fuel temporarily within the Unit's premises and then send it back to the Country of origin, Russia. He pointed out that the decision to store the spent fuel in the Reactor was taken without consulting the State Government. </span><br />
