<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu Chief Minister &nbsp;Edappadi Palanysamy is inspecting various repair works being carried out at the Mukkombu dam, across Cauvery river in Trichy today.<br />'' <br />'' This assumes significance as Cauvery water is being opened for irrigation at Mettur Dam on June 12th. It was reported that Eight shutters of the dam had been damaged in August 2018.<br />'' <br />'' Earlier, the Chief Minister had inaugurated various buildings and infrastructure facilities worth Rs 25 crores at a function in Trichy.<br />'' <br />'' They include class rooms and lab facilities under Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan at six places, a new library at the Government Law College etc.<br />'' <br />'' Various facilities related to departments of Commercial taxes, Health and Family Welfare and Public Works were &nbsp;inaugurated by the Chief Minister in Trichy today.</span>&nbsp;<br />
