Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a genome sequencing laboratory to identify the mutation of Corona virus at Chennai. The lab has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The samples from Tamil Nadu were earlier sent to Karnataka and Telangana which consumed more time. The Government had earlier announced that a genome sequencing lab would be set up at Chennai during the Assembly session.  Now that the state of the art lab will function from Chennai, it would be easier to identify mutation for treating the patients accordingly.</span><br />
