Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a genome sequencing laboratory to identify the mutation of Corona virus at Chennai. The lab has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 4 crore.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The samples from Tamil Nadu were earlier sent to Karnataka and Telangana which consumed more time. The Government had earlier announced that a genome sequencing lab would be set up at Chennai during the Assembly session.&nbsp; Now that the state of the art lab will function from Chennai, it would be easier to identify mutation for treating the patients accordingly.</span><br />
